Hello my beloved watchers! I have returned from my 2 week vacation to spend some time with Draco-McWherter and ScaryScarab with my head brimming with Dragon Ball Z.
Like a lot of you, I imagine, I have been watching the announcements on the next DBZ movie, Dragon Ball Z: Fukkatsu no F. As a huge Dragon Ball Z fan and as the author of DBSW, I am both highly excited and wary about the release of this new film. I've mentioned many times before that one of my primary goals as a writer of fanfiction is to be as true to the original material as possible - that includes making my writings fit as best they can into the actual timeline. Of course, in that area I have some breathing room since many of the DBZ movies themselves don't fit into the timeline and I don't consider all of them canon (*cough cough* Tarble *cough* Mecha Cooler *cough*).
So what it comes down to for me is that while as a fan I am purely excited, as an author I have to consider how the release of this new material may effect the DBSW expanded universe and the possibility that I may not be able to include it in the DBSW canon. I certainly hope this will not be the case because I love the idea of having new material to work with. But at the same time, it is a possible impossibility.
Most likely, the events of the movie will only take place over a few days or hours, knowing how DBZ tends to run. But if it doesn't, that leaves me the question: Why did the justice never find out about it and make an appearance. And there's also the PTOs that appear in the movie. Are they PTOs that got brought to life with Frieza? If so, no problem. But what if Toriyama has the characters say that "oh the PTO has just be waiting around for Frieza's return this whole time". Such things could be potential problems for DBSW.
Of course, based on things various readers have told me in the past, most of you won't even care if the movie contradicts my writings. But as a professional, the matter has still been on my mind since the movie was announced.
What do you think? Will Fukkatsu no F slip nicely into the DBSW timeline? Or will it cause problems for the headcanons I've established?

Like most of my stories, Dragon Ball Z: A Good Man started with a question: what would occur if Vegeta suddenly regained his tail? I am certainly not the first person to have this thought. There have been many fanfictions and comics written on the subject, mostly with either some comical or sexual context. My immediate thought when I asked myself this question was the image seen in the first chapter of this book – of Vegeta looking in the mirror and seeing the reflection of his old self looking back. I couldn’t help but think that it would be a constant reminder of his life before Earth.

A Good Man Animatic?
Hey guys! So I was listening to NateWantsToBattle’s cover of The World from Death Note and I realized that I could paradize the intro of Death Note to make an animatic intro for A Good Man. It would take several months of work and wouldn’t be done till I was already well into Light and Shadows, as AGM is in its final chapters.
