Though I have several major projects in the works, I had to put them aside for this. We all carry things with us--sorrows, memories, regrets. The Song of Healing is a song that takes these things and turns them into a mask.

So that is what I have done here. I once knew a pirate that I loved very much. And since I lost her she has haunted me every since. But then I heard this song, taken from the incredible Majora's Mask of the Zelda game series (my favorite), and I realized the only way I could be free was to transform those griefs into a strength.

So they have become the Pirate Mask. This mask gifts the wearer with the cunning and swagger of a fierce pirate.
