Escape To The Starsby *SwanofWar

Painting I've been working on for ages, mostly whenever something was bothering me or I was feeling down. It represents a deep wish of mine--to be able to escape the troubles of the world and into the starry night sky.

I think Flitterfeather would do this a lot when she was feeling lost, lonely, or sad.

Very interesting experience for me this work since it was extremely progressive. I kept getting better and better at painting and at drawing ponies as time went by. And as I improved I kept going back and improving stuff I'd already completed and such, so it ended up being a very long process.

But I've decided at last to declare this painting finished. Please enjoy

This is amazing....... ill put all i can put! its just an amazing picture to think of.... her cutie mark is OK..... the colors nice.....the hair and the wings are good! every thing on there i love! Its just the cute mark....it could be something else? All i'm saying is the cutie mark could of been a shooting star or a cloud and the moon and the stars......it could the best thing for her backround. Keep up the good work! Any ways this is a very beautiful piece of work! This is all! Bye! Bye! BYEEEEEE! X3 lol! bye!

I can really feel the emotion of sadness and loneliness, her isolated position, being in the middle, surrounded by the clouds and stars. The stars are gorgeous i love how they glow and sparkle! And her hair is so sparkly and shimmery in the star light this is really a lovely piece.
